I'm really offended by the policeman's position that this DVD was incriminating. I'm buying the disk. If "they" don't want the little people to know this information, I'm getting it on principle and I'm buying it not borrowing it. The people who produce this get my support in the form of the purchase. Those who would try to keep citizens from understanding the legal system get my contempt.

This is information to keep you out of trouble and NOT a manual for law breaking, the cop in the article admits that himself but claims that knowing your rights in the context of this being sold at a medical marijuana facility (also legal) adds up to too much information for the little guys and has to be meant to deceive the police. It's $15. If you are someone who may have a firearm in your vehicle (legally) or may have prescription medications on your person (legally) or any number of other reasons you may get the extra attention from LE, you may want to get this yourself.
No kidding, my sister spent a night in jail because she had her prescriptions for the day in one bottle without the prescription paperwork for the individual meds. She was working in a store and the police were talking to the owner. There was some adversarial BS but my sister wan't involved, she was just there and they asked if they could search her purse. The whole thing got that far because and only because she was in the same room with her boss who was feeling pissy and got mouthy. That was a mistake, but it wasn't my sister's mistake. The case was dropped when she produced the paperwork and the lab confirmed that the pills in question were the pills prescribed. Still, she spent the night in a crappy town lockup, had her name in the paper for being arrested with 'narcotics' and Mom posted her bail. Nothing like being 40 years old and calling Mom for bail. This happened because she said "Sure, I don't mind you looking through my stuff. I have nothing to hide." She didn't have to concent to squat and trying to 'play nice' cost her a night in jail. If they had a real reason to search her posessions they wouldn't have asked for or needed her to concent to the search. Know your rights or get them walked on.
