« on: April 12, 2022, 03:36:39 PM »
I have an inquiry about Topper 88 barrels, I have an H&R Topper 88 made in 1980 I believe (serial prefix AU).  It's a 20 Ga so what barrels will fit? I know some frames have designation such as SB1 etc. etc. what frame designation is my frame? Thanks for any info.

After reading all that it looks like any shotgun barrel or rifle barrel will fit, some might require minor fitting. I guess I'll have to pull off the butt stock to see what frame I have. Thanks for the info. Now to start searching for barrels.

All H&R Inc (1953-86) single shots had ductile cast iron frames suitable for shotgun and low pressure rifle chamberings like 30-30, Hornet and 357,  SB1(cast iron) and SB2 {alloy steel) weren't made until NEF made them in 1987.

Looks like I'll be looking for a 357 and 30-30 barrels. I guess a 410 barrel would fit.
