Ultra Sonic Cleaner any home formulas
« on: December 26, 2011, 01:02:14 PM »
Anybody got any home formulas for a Hornady Lock n Load Sonic cleaner? I got the cleaner for Christmas, but the formula that came with mine is for gun parts, I need some for brass. I can't wait to try it out, and no one in this area has the brass formula.

Thanks for any replies and I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas,

This has been posted several times, I've used the homemade recipes, prefer BC Case Cleaner instead.

Yeah.  It's not rocket science, most anything will do nicely.   Even white vinegar will clean cases very nicely and will remove black tarnish stains too but you need to flush the vinegar off before it drys on the metal.

Dawn dish washing soap and Lemi Shine also works.
