versa pack?
« on: December 29, 2011, 04:31:15 AM »
since our respective governments paranoia over terrorism have precluded virtually any cross border trade by individuals in firearms-the only way we were able to get multiple barrels was to buy the factory combinations[I have a nice topper with 30/30 and 20 guage barrels]
does anyone know WHY they stopped selling these combinations-and what the chances are they might be brought back?I see ROSSI had some-but not sure of the quality

Unfortunately sales probably weren't high enough but it's too bad because the quality is excellent. I have one that I bought a few years ago for my daughter at Wal-Mart. My son now uses it for everything. Both barrels shoot great. The .22 LR is accurate no matter what ammo you feed it. The .410 is also excellent. It shoots the 2.5" 000 buck rounds into a perfect 1.5" triangle at 25 yards. I bought a 45 Colt Carbine barrel on the classifieds here and it locked up perfectly on the Versa Pack so that is now my son's deer barrel.
