Something I just noticed.

I have never seen a bald Native American. Has anyone ever seen a 100% Native American that was bald? Ones with mixed European blood don't count.

I've never seen a bald native American, except the ones that shaved their heads.

I'm 1/4 th Cherokee, and the female barbers always say they wished they had my hair.  It's so thick is what they like about it.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I have never seen an indian with body hair.

Wikipedia: ""The trigger for this type of baldness is DHT, a powerful sex hormone, body- and facial-hair growth promoter that can adversely affect the prostate as well as the hair located on the head.""

Perhaps that explains it. No hair on the body, more hair on the head

I never noticed that, but I have noticed the high alcoholism and suicide rates. Kinda hard to miss that.

Dad says I'm 1/16 Cherokee. Wonder if that's why I only have 1/16 of my hair left?
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

Mom says I’m 1/8 Choctaw, does that explain the large hole in the center of my hair piece? ::) ::) ::)

Lots of reservations around everyplace we've lived, and I've never seen a bald Indian.

William L.  I have to beg to differ about alcoholism. I have seen so many good native folks who have come out of alcohol bouts and are looking good, they are coming to Church, maybe been free for several years, and then all of a sudden fall off the wagon and are lost again. It seems obvious to me that Indians have a special problem with alcohol and definately are more succeptable than other races.
