I'm still working on the cartridge that I'll use for deer and pigs but it looks like the Remington Core Lokt in 170 gr is going to get the nod.
I put a Bushnell TRS 25 on it using an XS Lever Scout mount. Looking for something to use in the Alabama brush. I have a 336 in 35 Remington but can't handle the recoil due to a bad neck.
This little 30-30 is much easier to handle. So far so good. I look forward to your comments and suggestions.
