Scope for a 10" 22LR
« on: December 29, 2011, 04:48:14 PM »
I have a 10" BB that I bought off of the classifieds here and it came with a 3x Lobo scope.  The scope is a great scope, has teeny crosshairs, but I am wanting something with more magnification and I don't want to spend a bundle.  Any suggestions?

Bushnell Elite 2-6X32 to not break the bank but have a quality scope.   The 2.5-8X28 Weaver Classic might be another pick.   I was surprised at the quality of a very cheap Compact Ncstar lighted reticle sniper rifle scope I bought, so maybe their 2-7X32 pistol scope is a choice for only pocket change.   With it only going on a 22 rimfire, any cheap variable handgun scope would work.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

I'm glad that you mentioned the ncstar.  I have 3 and I know 2 are trashed from my 358jdj, but the 3rd may work!  Thanks!

I've had a number of NC Star scopes have been very satisfied.  I heard from some folks that the image of the high priced scopes such as Burris et al. would blow the cheap Chinese stuff out of the water.  With respect, I cannot see a difference between "high end" images and what you can get from a $39 NC Star scope.  Frankly, for the price, it's a no brainer.  Also, they have a lifetime warrenty.
