Encore stock on a G2 Contender?
« on: January 05, 2012, 01:21:57 AM »
I shoot Contenders and have lots of barrels, but I love the Flex tech stock on the Encore.  Does anyone know if that stock can be made to fit a Contender carbine?

You can if you use an adaptor, Dont know who makes them but I have seen a picture of them it is a black plastic thing that slips down in the stock and takes up the space on both sides of the stock.
In all of Tims moderation he may have a link to the thing :)

You can use the Encore stock on a G2 Contender. It is just a little loose. I made a shim as per another post here and it works great I just used some plastic from a cheap loose leaf binder and trimmed to fit.  I sold the stock to a friend. I will try yo find a few pics later. I now have a High Plains Stock.

OTT used to make a plastic adapter for this. It is easy to just make them out of thin plastic and scissors.

Thanks for the replies, gentlemen.  Based on your information, I'm going to buy the stock.
