Savage Striker 308 and Cast Bullets
«

Does anyone out there have any experience with the Savage Striker pistol in 308 Win shooting cast bullets? I'm about to give up with my Contender, that hasn't shot cast in 32/20, 30/30, 6.5 TCU and currently in 7TCU.
Should I sell and switch?

If you've tried all those calibers and can't get them to shoot cast bullets, you probably will have less luck with a higher intensity round. You might want to consider fire-lapping the barrel on one of your TC's and carefully sizing the bullets to match the bore. Have you been using the heavier bullets in the 30-30 and 7mm TCU? Do you cast your own bullets, or buy them from suppliers?
