Savage 111 300 win mag

I need help! I found a savage 111 300 win mag in a pawn shop and the price sounds good but i cant find what version it is on line. It has a black synthetic stock and the clip has a release button on the side of the stock all the ones I'm finding online have them on the bottom. I'm assuming these are the newer model any help would be great. Thanks

 What you've found is an older model. It has what is called a staggered feed mag.
They quit making these around 04-05 IRC. Still good rifles.
