New Encore muzzleloader need help
« on: January 18, 2004, 04:12:38 PM »
I just picked up a new 209x50 muzzleloader in stainless and camouflage.  This thing shoots great with groups being about 1in. at 100 yards.  The problem is this group is about 5in. above the bullseye and my sights have bottomed out. I am shooting 100 grains of pyrodex pellets behing a 245 grain hollowpoint powerbelt any help would really be appreciated.  I didn't put a scope on it since there's only about 2 weeks left in the season and i figured open sights was the quikest and cheapest way to get it shootin straight.

I would contact T/C right away!

They will probably send you a new "higher" front sight!

Try drawing the front sight down "fine" and see what happens!
