Taurus Tracker Titanium Model 460 in 45 Colt
« on: October 29, 2011, 05:40:10 PM »
Well,
Even though it had been said here several times about this guns, I could not help it.  My purchasing inpulse was stronger so I reserved one used but hardly used Tracker Titanium model 460 tracker.  I can't wait to have it in my hands and run a few rounds through it.
I examined the gun carefully and it seems nice and in excellent shape.  The trigger is a little rough but I am not too worried about at this time.  Anyone had experiences with a gun of this model?  My usage is going to be 250-260 gr bullets at about 900 FPS max.  Any good loads suggestions for that 900 FPS goal?

Thanks.

Graybeard,
Thank you for the note on your situation.  I cancelled the deal on the gun due to cold feet after reading the situation you went through.  I remember now and I did not want to go through the same with a gun that is no longer available from Taurus as it had been discontinued.  It is a great looking gun though and my impulse-buying hormones kicked in as soon I saw it.  I hope another opportunity shows up with a different gun.

Look into the m444multi.  It's the titanium on the raging bull frame.  Bullet proof.

While I did not have a 4 inch tracker I did have one with a 2inch barrel and the cylinder face would rub the forcing cone sent it back was returned still rubbing . So I sent it packing down the road.
