Taurus 66 Good Bad or Ugly?
« on: April 08, 2012, 05:55:31 AM »
I have been wanting a .357 Taurus 66 4Inch for some time. My question is, are they of decent quality or should i look for another brand? It will get shot quite a bit but mostly with the 38 Spl loads. I am and avid handgun shooter. Any opinion would help with my decision.

I have not owned a mod.66, but I have owned several Tauruses in the past, and just picked up new mod 94 yesterday. I have never had a problem with any of them. I have always found their guns to be of very reliable quality. And they do come with  great customer service.
I carry a single shot.
'cause it only takes one shot.

I had a Taurus 66 for many years - the thing was very accurate and durable.....shot about 2000 rounds through it of .357.      I sold it when I got a Ruger SP101 for CCW.    That is the only piece I have ever regretted selling....original price for the 4" blue model 66 was $239... I sold it for $200 and never should have done that......oh well we live and learn.
