(WHAS11)- A 12-year-old boy has died after being stabbed to death by his 10-year-old friend.

The attack happened in San Diego, California Monday afternoon.

Police say the two got into an argument, and the younger boy grabbed a kitchen knife, stabbing the other in the chest.

 Neighbors say the attack was an accident.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died a few hours later.

No word yet on what charges the 10-year-old may face.

I presume he wasn't a muslim ?

At his age he won't be elevated as adult and won't face murder charges.
