Can I use 12 ga, bbls on my 10 gage frame?

I just received a couple of xtra bbl;s, a 28" Full and a 24" mod. bbl on a great purchase of a 12 ga Tracker II (thanks to this site).  I have in my locker,  an older 36"full 10ga, that I no longer use (however post some suggestions here I'm not ruleing that out either ;D )..........anyway, I just tried a swap of 12 bbls, to the 10, SB1 frame, and the bbls. lockup nicely.......now the question......>Should I do this????  Or is this not a safe swap??

Probably have issues with off center pin strikes since the 10 ga. frame uses larger diameter barrels.  If it's not too significant, side to side slop could be shimmed to keep in line.  Dunno, maybe someone else has tried.   :-\

One fella put a standard barrel on an SB2 10ga frame, IIRC he bedded the barrel in the frame in epoxy to make up for the difference in diameter of the chamber swell.
