Tues morning I had to let the dog out at 645 AM, it was 58 deg, by 10 am it was 61. Afternoon storm, hvy rains, 60-70 mph winds in my area, 7 tornados around the state and Lou. No damge in my area, then at 530 pm it was 30 deg. Dwn to 24 that night. Before the storm I noticed that Pattys daffodils are up about 5-6 in and several had buds getting ready to bloom. Also a surprise lily was up. I'll look tomorrow to see what they look like, most of the trees are budded too. My darn grass has grown since I cut it last fall too. Been cold and windy last several days. Pond is definitely full. Saw about 20 robins together a few days ago too.
Freezing rain N of us the other night, Mom said traffic was barely moving with lots of wrecks that night in ILL. We escaped it here but it hit pretty good about 60 + miles N of here. Still 56 deg at 1045 tonight. Supposed to be bad, possibly damaging storms later tonight and maybe more tornados. Looks like the storm is a good hr away. We've only had about 1 1/2 in snow this winter, I'm sure that will change. This is easier on the gas bill but bad for bugs next summer. This is not good with most of the trees budded out, peach and apple trees leafed out mid dec dec then frost got em again. Crazy weather for sure. POWDERMAN.
