After reading the comments made me think about a happening back many years ago. Way back in 1974.
My first wife and I had just gotten divorced. As usual she got custody of our three year old. I was sent to Pheonix, she stayed here with her family. The next winter my Ex-sister-in-law decided to go into town. She was driving an F-350 with4X4. The temp was 30 below. Luckily she had dressed my son in his snow suite, boots, hat, and mittens. She did not show such concern for herself. High heels, micro mini, long sleeved blouse, vest, and no coat or gloves. She was a slave to fashion. While going around a bend in the highway, she lost control, hit the high snow bank, rolled and went over and down below the road. Due to the higher than normal snow fall that year the snow bank totally hid the truck from view by folks on the highway.
No seat belts used, she bounced around inside the truck and struck her head. She was knocked unconcious. All the windows were blown out of the truck. No one was there to know what happened to my son, but apparently he was not banged up too badly. My son got out of the truck and climbed the snow bank. Once there he sat down and started playing in the snow. A woman driving by saw him and stopped, wondering what is this baby doing out here by himself. As she approched he started pointing to the truck and saying "Aunt Nell, Aunt Nell". This woman was not able to get to the truck herself, but she flagged down other vehicles, and some men were able to reach the truck. By the time they pulled my Aunt Nell from the truck, she had frost bit on her legs, hands, and feet. The lady was not the brightest bulb in the pack.
