Interlock Breathalizer for first time DWIs
« on: January 31, 2012, 02:16:29 PM »
There is a bill before Congress to make it mandatory for a Breathalizer interlock device be installed on First time DWI offenders.  I think it is a good idea, and am behind it 100%, on a state by state basis.  I don't think the Federal Government should get involved.

My virtual adopted son Eric (Neighbor's son) got a DWI, back in August.  Judge sentenced him to 1 year walking, or 6 months walking and a interlock device installed on his car.  He got his car back this month, with the interlock.  This has really caused this young man to take a serious look at his behavior.  A good thing.  With the success we have here in Alaska, I think other states should get on board.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
