I have one on a Model 1100 and it works just fine.  Mine has small groves along the inside of the barrel to keep the shot piston traveling in a straight line.  Probably a gimmick.

I've had a Hastings rifled for my Rem 1100 for 30 years and it seems to be of good quality. Always consistant and killed a lot of deer.

I have a Hastings barrel on my 870 and it is very accurate.  I also use Hastings slugs, because I got a good deal on them,  but I wonder if any of you other fellas have had good accuracy with any of the sabotted slugs that use pistol or rifle bullets?  Thanks, Mikey.
