Okay, Here is another swapping question. Would it be possible to install a Bisley hammer in a 3 screw Blackhawk? Thanks so much for all the help so far in making my dream gun.

Dave Clements sells them ready to go, he also makes a super black hawk hammer for them. I actually prefer the super hammer to the bisley. the lock work on an old model is differnt so you cant swap a new model hammer into one.

I keep a blued and a stainless Super hammer in my parts box. Each new Ruger gets the swap when it comes in. New models of course. I have embraced the transfer bar concept and really like carrying six. I do not have overly large hands and I love the reach and feel of the SBH hammer. 44 Man
