Encore Forend Question?

I am seeing some quick release encore rifle and muzzleloader forends for sale on the internet, does anyone have any first hand knowlage on them, do they work good.

The reviews I have read were not good.  I think you have to install some standoffs on the barrel and it doesn't really make sense unless you have the standoffs on all your barrels.  I read it broke easily.
