I have a question about adjusting ruger #1 triggers. I know that one of the little screws on the trigger adjusts the sear, what does the other do ? and how do you adjust them?
thanks for any input.

On my #1 the trigger adjustment screws seem to be cosmetic.
I believe some of the first models had triggers which could be effectively adjusted, but the factory triggers on later models have very limited adjustment.

The forward screw adjusts the spring tension and should make about 1# difference. The second is the overtravel and probably should be left alone.
