LC9 TALO

Went in to get a new LC9 last night and saw the TALO. Bought it for less than the standard LC9(Not sure how that happens), and after I take my mandatory cool down period, will pick it up Thursday and hopefully shoot this weekend. I had seen this gun in pics only and did not care for it, but it really looks good in person. I sure hope it is a shooter!

Be prepared for a bunch of FTF due to light primer strikes and multiple 3 week delays getting it back from the factory after u send it back.   Since you havent picked it up yet its not too late to tell the retailer u changed your mind and want to pick a different gun.   Ruger has a lot of bugs to work out of that pos

Hmmm. perhaps mine is the exception but its ran 300 rounds of mixed fmj and jhp's without one bobble.  If problems do arise, as long as Ruger pays the shipping, I'll keep after it until they get it right.

Am happy for you....hope it keeps shooting!  Mine was the worst experience I have ever had with a gun, and from what I read on other forums, I am not alone.....Mine was manufactured in July 11, maybe yours is a bit newer and they started working the bugs out?  Hope so....As for size, feel, etc...I LOVED it.  Have now picked up a Walther PPS but havent shot it yet...hopefully no problems

PSP,
I have done a ton of research and found that the ones I did read bad stuff about seemed to be early models. Although the majority of what I read is praise. I have not had a problem with any Ruger firearm in the past and really like the feel of this one. If I run into problems and they can't fix it, I guess I will just have to look for something else, but as of now, this is my favorite out of the many guns I have handled in that class.

Picked it up and took it to the range after a quick cleaning. 50 Blazer brass through it without any issues at all. Recoil is not bad and accuracy seems fine. Of course I will spend more time with it getting used to the DA trigger and hope to have my accuarcy improve.
1 of 1500 for $387 out the door.
