10 ga Turkey

Are any of you guys shooting the 10 ga Turkey setup?

A friend has one that I've shot and it wasn't as rough a shooter as I'd imagined.
I've got a bug to buy one, not a bad bug but starting to think more that way.

I'm shooting 3" 12 ga with a good choke and have killed out to 50 yds.
What are you seeing between the 10 and the 12 as far as effective ranges?
If you've gone with the 10 ga have you seen much of a gain over a 12 ga?

I used to shoot  a 12ga 3½" for turkey for years, decided I'd go the other way and switched to a 20ga, love it, nice and light to carry and no recoil to speak of, what a joy to hunt with!  ;)

You can buy several years worth of 12 ga turkey loads for the cost difference between a 12 ga H&R camo turkey gun and a 10 ga camo turkey gun.  I can find a NIB 12 ga 3.5"for between 150 & 170 and the 10 ga camo turkeys are way over $300, if you can find one at all.

Ya'll are talking me into staying with what I've been using.
3" Supreme X has worked well for me in the 12.

Any idea what the effective range of the 10 is going to be?
Consistent range?
