Point Pleasant WV man designs gun as tribute to coal miners;

POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (AP) - A Point Pleasant man has designed a rifle in honor of coal miners.
Boyd Hodge has been working on the concept for more than 18 months with Henry Repeating Arms Co. Their product, the Henry Golden Boy Special Edition Coal Miner Tribute, will be unveiled April 28 at Dunlap's Gun & Pawn in Hurricane. Hodge, a retired miner, will be there to sign certificates of authenticity.
Hodge says he wanted to honor miners because the only time they get attention is if there's a tragedy, such as a mine collapse or explosion.
The rifle features an engraving of a shovel, a pick-axe, a miner, the words "Coal Miners United" and a prayer that Hodge said every time he entered a mine.
