powder suggestions for 30-30 with sierra 125 gr fn-hp

Anybody got any powder\load suggestions for 30-30 with sierra flat nose hollow point. Ive read nothing but good things about these bullets out of 30-30 on deer sized game. I really like the idead of a little extra velocity from the dirty 30!

31.5 gr of IMR 3031 for a little over 2300 fps.

I've loaded the 130 grain Speer FP and the 130 grain Barnes TTSX in my Handi and Topper 30-30s. I have found Reloader 7 to be the best powder for those lightweight bullets. Even better, I can load one grain or so below max and still get more fps than with max loads of other popular powders for the 30-30. By the way, in my opinion only, a 130 grain Barnes TTSX with a muzzle velocity of 2450 fps is hard to beat. I have shot deer and hogs and the terminal performance is the same as  my 308 with the same bullet.

For years all I used was IMR 3031 in my 30-30's. Still use it some but lately have been loading H-4895 with good results and it cuts easier in my Lyman powder measurer.
 
I use H-4895 for these Sierra 125gr FN  for the grandkids loads. And Nosler 125 BT for my T/C 30-30 & 30-30AI rifle and pistol barrels.

I used to shoot a lot of 125/130g bullets from a single shot and from a Savage 340. H335 was the powder, and I had no problem pushing them past 2600 fps, out of the single shot[24" barrel], and about 2550 from the savage. I cant remember the exact powder amount, but it was around 37g. I shot several hundred of these bullets when the .30-30 was all I had.

I used IMR 4198 with 125 gr Sierra spitzer SP in my Contender pistol in 30-30 Win. I now use IMR 4198 in my 14" barrel Contender pistol 30-30AI with 125 Nosler ballistic tips and get 2670 fps average and it is a tack driver and a deer hammer. BANG FLOP.
