Moringa
« on: March 28, 2012, 05:51:56 PM »
Hi Friends

We are researching a bush/Tree called Maringa. It appears you may get a little bitter taste but very interesting. Anyone have any experience growing these trees? My major question is if raised outside unguarded will deer eat them to a nub? If not a food source it sure appears to answer a lit of mineral and vitamin needs along with Calcium and Protene.

Hi Friends

Please don't over look this tree. It is the epitome of the word SURVIVAL. I would really like to share this subject for the benefit of everyone. This plant will replace dozens of herbs and home remedied needs. It will fulfill so many survival needs not to be over looked. Take a little time to read and study about this little tree.

I ordered seeds and planted 5 and 2 or 3 came up. I didn't try to keep them going. The problem with them is that they grow in tropical/sub tropical zones, wouldn't survive in central Mississippi. For someone with the right growing zone they offer a lot of nutritional bebefit. Otherwise they require a greenhouse or at least a lot of winter protection. ear
