Home Made Kimber Grips!
« on: February 05, 2012, 03:00:41 AM »
I didnt really care for the rubber grips on my Kimber.

So I decided to try my hand at making a set. I didnt have at the time the proper size drill bits and this is more or less a practice set. They are made from English Walnut, Lin Seed Oil finish followed by a buffing.

Very nice job.  It's amazing what a different set of grips will make a pistol look like.
