On a .22 scope the parallax setting is set for 50yds. But if you have AO does that make up for the parallax settings. I was just wondering because i was looking at tha bushnell 3200 4-12-40 and it said parallax setting 10yds to infinaty.Would this be good for close shots when squirel hunting and longer shots when varmit hunting??

Yes.  If it says 10yds to infinity, then you can focus on it as close as 10 yards (33 feet).  Such scopes are used in air rifles where 10 yard shots are the norm.
