Just traded for a 700 7-08
« on: April 01, 2012, 11:17:00 AM »
first 2 shots at 100 yards with Bitterroot Valley 145 grain made one ragged hole on a very, very windy morning here in northern Oklahoma.
  It got me to thinking, 4 years ago, the only Remington I had was a 788 6mm......................now I have a Model 7 223, 700 17 Fireball, 700 VTR 22-250, Model 7 243 and now the 700 7-08.
The 223, 22-250, 243 and 7-08 were all owned by one guy. He keeps them a week or 2 , then trades them off for something new (Remingtons) at the local gun dealer. I always ask him how they shoot, and he says 1/2" groups. He hasn't been wrong yet.
Can't wait to see what rifle he gets next!!!!  He has to be a single guy.......hahaha!
