Indiana Turkey Hunting

I live in S.E. Indiana.  Do you think the warm winter we are having will affect the turkey season?

My brother seen 3 toms strutting yesterday in Pike County.  I hope it cools off some or all the good action may be over before season starts.

The Toms are out and about. Saw three from my balcony last week.

Toms have been on display with a passion for the last week and a half or a little more.  Wish I had a camera adapter for my spotting scope to get you some pics.  Just this morning my wife was chuckling about 5 of them displaying for a group of hens.  One tom was enormous and not getting the most attention.  Her comment was something to the effect of size not being everything.

Went out this morning to do some trail clearing and heard 2 toms on the roost at about 0720, gobbbled for about 10 minutes then shut up.

I'm concerned that the Toms are going to be silent when the season rolls around. They are already doing their courtship dance.
