testing the new 58gr.LBT .25 airgun bullet
« on: February 25, 2012, 08:55:11 AM »
Testing today proved the 58gr.LBT flat nose to be accurate. As this bullet is for larger game than normaly shot with the.25 cal.sumatra, the test range was closer.30yrds.1/2in.groups were the average. The best weight bullets in the sumatra seem to run 40to60gr.Any heavier, and the bullets tumble on impact. For"subsistance"hunting,we need deep, straight wound chanels. For this use I find the 50to 58gr.bullets work best for me.

A friend of mine is getting STELLAR accuracy out to 150+yards with his .25caliber LBT boolits that he casts for his AirForce air rifle.

Veral sure knows what he's doing.

Glad to hear it.We need to spread the word about these new moulds. If enough interest is shown,Veral will make these into a production model, not just special order.I have read your postings all over the inter-net,good job!So help me spread the word.
