Can anyone tell me if a hunting license is required to hunt pigs on private land in MS?

In MS one is required to have in possession a valid MS hunting license to hunt, unless you are hunting on private land deeded in your name. Be mindful that one must also hunt with the weapon that the season currently running is using. Example,squirrel- 22 cal rifle, shot gun with shot size limits, deer archery- bow and arrow, primitive weapon- mzloader, appropriate ss rifle. Get the idea? Hope this helps .
