I bought an HDS Compac years ago and use mine alot.  When I get a new gun and want to develop a load for it I take the Compac to the range with my powder measure and loading supplies.  It makes it so easy to reload there as opposed to loading at home, take them to the range and return home to rework the load.  The only issue I have had with it is the primer seating spud is small and you have to make sure that you don't loose it.
If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.
