I did a google search using the term:   F.E. Weber, knifemaker and got some hits on him.  http://www/artknives.com lists one of his.  Click on Fred Weber.
Also found a few others without looking too far.  He appears to make(or have made...can't tell if he is still active or not) high end hunting/bowie knives.  I saw prices ranging from $375.00 up to $650.00 dollars on the three knives I looked at.  Hope this helps.

I got here by doing the same search.

I'm sitting here looking at 2 knives. One is a picture in the current A.G. Russell catalog of a Keith Murr Model 88. The other is a knife I bought fromFred Weber around 1982. they are virtually identical, except for side (8 5/8" vs. 7 3/8"). Both are made from D2 tool steel.

The catalog description mentions that Keith Murr got hooked on D2 when he worked for Bob Dozier. When I met Fred, all his knives were made from D2. Does anyone know of a link from Fred Weber to Bob Dozier?

The Weber is one of my favorite knives and is my regular boating and camping carry. Like the catalog says, it's a handmade knife that's made to be used.
