Are you encore rifle users finding that factory barrels have good out of box accuracy or are they finicky?  I am mostly interested in the calibers 7mm and up.

Hunting1..
What's your load in the 209X50?  I've just started with one this year, so I'm working up a couple of different loads.  Thanks...

150 grain of Cleanshot + 250 gr tC XTP = DEATH up to 225 yds

:D 100gr Pyrodex and 300gr Barnes, less than an inch! Shoots like a center fire! The 295 PB-HP worked well too, but like the Barnes for elk and such. Good shoot'n.

My 7 Mag seems like it's gonna be a shooter. sub one inch groups so far at 100 yards.

My 209x50 ML has shot good as well.  I've taken 7 deer with it so far, with the longest shot a modest 116 yards.

Regards,

Rog
