I'm Ok
« on: February 29, 2012, 03:29:45 PM »
Branson was hit pretty hard by a tornado last night. My son runs a security company and the Hilton Hotel is one of his contracts. It was hit hard and he spent several hours evacuating guests and setting them up in other hotels. Luckily the worst injury was a man who broke his leg. Jason was driving towards the Hilton when the twister struck. There was only two minutes warning. He was only a block away from it when it touched down. His pickup was hit with a lot of debri but he's ok. It missed our house completely. Also, today I saw the second heart surgeon about replacing a valve in my heart. The good news is he thinks I'm holding my own and the surgery can wait a while longer. He'll run more tests in 3 months just to make sure. Been a pretty stressful day but such is life. :)

Glad to hear you finally got a little good news for a change.  Hang in there, keep your head down and try not to get too involved with the neighbor kid and his dang dog and maybe things will go a bit easier this summer.  ;)

Thanks for the reply on my Pm to you and it is good to know that you are ok. Those of us who live in Oklahoma know about tornados, one hit the town where I live in 84 but we were south of town so did not touch us. Glad you have good news on your heart condition and pray that all will continue to go well with you. Keep us posted.
