I have a chance to buy a really nice NEF 22-250 with the matte finish stainless steel barrel. The receiver doesn't have a scratch on it but the barrel has the typical marring as well as a few light scratches and I was wondering if I could clean some of it off. Anyone have any ideas? Will CLR do damage? Thanks.
