Outstanding 'Much!  You sound like a radical independent prepper.   ;D

Cool!

What age do you slaughter the porkers?  How big?

Cool! Just purchased two lil pigs myself. First ones I have tried,But have butchered several. What are your feed plans for the porkers? This sure is the right time of year to get them.Should be top hog about new years or so.

One of the pigs is scheduled for a pig roast early June, About 140 lbs or so. The othe 2 will go to the butcher middle of July or so. They should be about 240 lbs or so. The feed plan will be Chemical free hog feed , Extra eggs from the chickens, & anything else I can find for them for free,

If you are looking for free/cheap food for the hogs there could be a few local places that might be able to help you out. Grocery stores will often give away their old produce to whomever will haul it off for them on a regular basis. Some of the big chains like walmart will sell it pretty cheap. The local bread store charges $11 for 2 carts of bread, which is a heaping lwb truck load.
