slug guns
« on: March 04, 2012, 10:54:52 AM »
My two slug guns..  Bought the 20 ga a few years ago  started working on loads. My job went away and it got set back in the closet well new job and two moves later I got around to working a load up. I shoot hard cast round balls at 1260 f.p.s. It shoots better than I can with iron sights
I just got the 12 ga a old model 162 buck. Today was the second trial shooting slugs I shot 1 3 shot group at 25 yards that group was 3 shots toughing and a 3 shot group at fifty of about 3 1/2 in   I'll be sticking with remington sluggers for this gun

Every breath I take as a Free man was paid for with the blood of an American Soldier

Pretty wood on the blond one!

I have one shorty that will shoot the std 1oz sluggers into a baseball at 50 with a peep site. I try to keep a doz boxes n hand at all times!

Good luck with yours!
