.44 Mag Leverlution Ammo In Carbine Barrel
« on: February 14, 2012, 04:20:31 AM »
Anyone ever use .44 Mag Leverlution ammo in a Contender carbine barrel? I just picked up one recently and was thinking about giving it try. Like to hear your experience with that ammo and any other that was accurate in a carbine barrel.

Not in a Contender barrel, but I have an H&R with a 22" barrel.

It shoots great in my barrel. It shoots so good, I don't even reload for it. Easily less than 1.5" at 100 yards. My favorite ammo in my .44 mag, with WWB 240Grain JSP coming in a close second.

I load 200gr Hornady FTX the same bullets as the Leverlution ammo but in 45 Colt in my 14" 45 Colt carbine barrel.

Loads of fun...
