My brother went to other Dicks here around Denver looking for any other $149.97 packages, his son looked up around Fort Collins, too, and most had only a few guns of any description. Apparently they sent all the closeouts to one store or something. Anyway, 1 of 2 is gone now, the .22 250 is left.
When the scope is sorted out, bore cleaned, and all, I will post the results. Depending on my opinion of the scope, it may be a good fit for the .25-06 and put the 3-9 on the new .308. Fir my uses a 1-4 shotgun scope would be the ticket. This fills the gap tween the .243, .2506 and 45-70.
Now to find dies, and sort through my brass, (or buy a bag).
This Dicks has a good selection of firearms, decent prices (match WalMart) on ammo. If only they sold components amd handguns.
