Chamber Adapters 20ga.

Ordered 3 adapter in 20ga. to shoot .38/357mag,9mm and 44mag.
I shot all 3 in my 20GA slug Handi with a 3X9 scope at 25 yards. the 9mm worked fine but only did 18" group.
The 38/357mag did better about 12" group But the empties were very hard to remove. The 44mag key holed and I had to use a brass rod and hammer to get empty out,so only fired it one time.
I am waiting on an answer from Dina Arms Corp. on their return rules. At the very least I am hoping for a replacement on the .38/357mag and 44 mag. But hoping for a refund on all three.

Sorry to hear of these disappointing results. Those chamber length adapters with little to no rifling aren't going to do much. I have ordered a 10" insert in 30-30 for my 20ga SxS from MCA Sports. These start life as ES Shaw button rifled barrels that are turned down to fit the shot gun with several grooves cut for O-rings allowing a tight and centered fit. The 10" inserts are $95.

Very poor results from those. I wonder what the problem is with them? I have a 12 guage/9MM insert from them. It is aluminum with rifiling and it will keep all it's shots on an 8" pie plate at 25 yards. And that was with 3 different guys shooting it....<><....:)

The aluminum rifled short inserts must be Dina Arms.  I have had good luck with mine in 12/.45 acp.
Full power loads, 4" groups at 15 yards (as I recall)....just about point of aim w/ shotgun bead front sight.
No extraction problems.

Yes, my aluminum rifled insert is from Dina Arms. I just took it as a typing error when the OP said his were from Dana Arms and thought he intended to type Dina Arms....<><....:)

Just got an e-mail from Alan Stadin at Dina Arms Corp. about my adapters. He told me to ship them back for a refund.He said he was sorry about me not liking them.   
Will let you know how quick they do the refund.  Later Tom

Over the years I have purchased/used many shotgun adapters from several makers (mostly 20ga.) in 22RF, 410, 38spl/357mag, etc.  The only one that was really useable was the 410.  The 22RF and 38/357 were really only useable at about point blank range.  In the case of NEF and H&R shotguns you are really better off saving your money up and buying a full 22RF, 357mag, etc.barrel.  Now they really work great and don't cost that much more.  Just my views.
