April 3rd marked one year since my favorite gopher hunting partner and wife of 44 years died.
With her 10-22 cut down to a 10 1/2 inch length of pull and 10 loaded spare magazines she was the terror of the gopher patch.
Tuesday my friend Ernie and I went to my wife's favorite hunting spots and shoot gophers in her memory. I know she would have loved the idea. We could feel her presence in our heart. We will try to do this every April 3rd from now on.
