Help finding a front sight...
«

I need some help finding a new front sight, the factory sight broke when I was trying to ... uh... 'adjust' it.
I looked through FAQ and I think I have decide on the
Williams fire sight item# 70220.
I'd like to know for sure if it will fit. Barrel is one of the last pre-remington 22" 45/70.

Call the manufacture they should be able to tell you what you need to know.

Dovetails are nominal 3/8", some hand fitting of the base is often required, though sometimes stuff just fits together. This is the time to get a different front sight height if you need a change to maximize the rear sight adjustment.
