30-30 MAY BE TO HOT ???

My Marlin 30-30 shoots best with 32gr's of AA-2520 and 150 gr bullet.  I use the Win. Mag Primer.  Today I accidentally loaded five rounds with 170gr bullets.  Should I try them or break them down and do it right?

Thats a half grain over max according to their web site. Since its only 5 rounds I would pull them and start over.  KN

170 grain bullet:
AA-2520 From 25.3 grains to 32.4 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

That's what I found as the usable loading range, however, I used a Winchester 94...

Is that with the 170gr bullet?  Since I'm using Mag primers I'd better go ahead and break them down.

They might very well work in your Marlin, but for a load over the published maximum...you would need to WORK UP TO that load.  It isn't worth losing a nice gun or even worse yet, your eyesight or something just for four bullets.  Just toss em in the bay.

Razmuz--
    Those who have advised you to pull the bullets and start over have given you good advise.  Pull the bullets, save the powder, reload the cases with the correct weight of powder FOR YOUR RIFLE, and reload the bullets.  I routinely pull bullets using a kinetic-type bullet puller without damage to the bullets.  Sometimes the bullet point (on spire point bullets) might get damage, so I just shoot those for practice.
