What ya think about this idea?

Lately I've been trying to reduce rather than expand the number of forums and have been doing quite a bit of combining of them. A fellow southern from MS asked about a forum for his state.

We now have a forum for Alabama and for Georgia and neither is really getting enough posts to properly justify them. What I am considering is these two forums and combining them into one and adding Mississippi so that it is a three state forum. There already are some multiple states in this section.

That might be a viable alternative to his request. I know we have a lot of the Bama guys posting to the GA forum and some of the GA guys posting on our Bama forum.

Does that sound like a plan that might be of interest to ya? All us good ol southern boys in MS, AL and GA are kinda cut from the same cloth anyway what with us being sons of the Confederacy and victims of the war of northern agression and all.

I'd like your comments on this before I proceed.

I agree that we're all southerners  with a lot on common with those two states. The only problem I see with it is our state game laws are different in each state, so there might be a problem when someone from another state talks about hunting by the law in his/her state that conflicts with the law in our state. My take on it is; losing our identify as a state forum.

Might as well combine them. There wasn't really any way to keep AtlLaw from posting here anyhow ;)
We can still have Alabama-specific topics.
