Hornady Superformance 223 55 grain GMX ammo ?
« on: April 06, 2012, 04:12:43 PM »
Has anyone tried this ammo?
I am interested in how well it shoots out of your rifle and actuall velocities verses the published speed and also very interested in its performance on deer. penetration ,damage etc.

If your barrel is 24" or 26" you should get pretty much dead on the stated velocity I know I always have with the Light Mag ammo and SuperPerformance is just a new name for it with a wider selection.

I've not tried the .223 tho.

Shoot's 1/2" groups in my Remington Model 7 223......don't have a way to check  velocity. I really like the ammo.
