XCR II range report...
« on: February 13, 2012, 10:01:27 AM »

First time out with my new 270 XCR II. I fired one shot at 50 after bore sighting and made a scope adjustment from there. Moved the target to 100 yards and fired two shots in the bull that measured .25"... I said the heck with it and put the gun up, I'm calling that good  ;) . Factory 140 grain Ultra Bonded Core-Lokts... should be nasty on the deer and hogs!!

Great shooting, I'm after one in .223. Hope it can compare to your results. Seems to be a fantastic rifle! Congrats!!

potential but ive just seen to many 2 shot groups that small be 2inch 5 shot groups. Heck ive seen guns shoot 1inch 5 shot groups and figued i had the loading licked. Loaded some more up and went back and shot 2 inch groups. I dont call it quits until a gun will shoot at least 3 5shot groups. I just wouldnt have confidense in it with that small of a test.

Yea, I know what ur say'n... problem is there are so many things that effect group size,,, but I wouldn't put any money on me missing the next critter that steps out because this gun is not sighted in properly... ;)
