Mmmm, it just gets weirder and weirder. Think about this....Anders Breivik, self proclaimed evangelo-Christian extremist claims he was only engaging in a 'pre-emptive strike' as per the Bush Doctrine....So if this is true,,,is he then truly certifiable nuts??. Those types of Christians that subscribe to warfare usually only thought along 'just' war patterns in the past,,,but with Bush Doctrine have adopted 'pre-emptive warfare'..(WWJS?)
.
Meanwhile in greater context..... what about a nation(s) that adopts/normalizes pre-emptive warfare..?

.Norway Terrorist Invokes Bush Doctrine – Claims Attacks Were Preemptive Self-Defense

The man behind the Norway terrorist attacks is invoking US foreign policy as his defense claiming the attacks were a preemptive strike done in self-defense to prevent Islamic Extremists from launching terrorist attacks.Anders Behring Breivik made international news headlines when he detonated a bomb in Norway and then when on a shooting rampage shortly afterward.
Breivik is now invoking what is known as the Bush Doctrine which the United States uses to justify their terrorists attacks in Pakistan and Yemen to take out “Islamic Extremists” in a claim his attacks were done in self-defense..
For those who aren’t aware, the Bush Doctrine is a key component of US foreign policy and says that the United States can launch covert operations, military strikes or even full-scale invasions of foreign nations as a preventive self-defense measure to prevent attacks on the united states.
By invoking the Bush Doctrine the US  has invaded Afghanistan and Iraq and currently launches preemptive self-defense attacks around the world on a daily bases through the use of airplane strikes in nations such as Pakistan and Yemen.
Breivik claims, under the same premise of the Bush Doctrine, the attacks he launched were a preemptive strike done in self-defense against Islamic extremists who at war with Christians and are trying to take over the world with their campaign of terrorism.
He says he launched the attacks to defend himself and other to prevent the Islamists he killed from launching attacks in the future.
Right now legal experts are saying that the plea has no chance saying the claim that he killed people preemptively in self-defense is absurd.
How is it not absurd that the United States uses the same exact justification on a daily basis to launch attacks around the entire global that kill far more woman and children?
Russia Today reports:
 >RT – Even his lawyers say the plea has no chance – but Anders Behring Breivik is still determined to somehow prove that killing 77 people, most of them teenagers, was an act of self-defense.
The 33-year-old extremist has confessed to planting a bomb near government buildings in Oslo, then driving to the island of Utoya, where he systematically shot 69 people.
His odd argument is that his actions were “necessary” to prevent Norway from being swallowed in what he perceived as an imminent Islamic takeover. The self-styled anti-Muslim militant might sound mad as a hatter, especially after confirming his intent to claim gunning down teenagers in cold blood was an act of defense. But according to a panel of psychiatrists who examined him in prison, Breivik was perfectly aware of his actions at all times.
His trial begins next week, and no one is harboring hopes that the terrorist will repent or admit his guilt. Moreover, Breivik’s lawyers told reporters their client is more than likely to complain that he was unable to kill more people.
“My point in saying that was to prepare people, so that we will be more ready for what will come at the trial,” lawyer Geir Lippestad told journalists. “I think we’re going to hear many very provocative statements from him. But we must endure it.”
The twin attacks of last July — a bomb in Oslo’s government district followed by a shooting spree at the governing Labor Party’s youth camp outside the capital — brutally shocked Norway.
The blond, blue-eyed gunman surrendered to police on a lakeside island where the bodies of his many teenage victims lay scattered. He claimed he was the Islamic terror group’s antithesis, a modern-day crusader waging a war against Islam in Europe.
Breivik confessed to the attacks but rejected criminal guilt, saying he had acted to protect Norway from being overrun by Muslims by targeting the political establishment he claimed had betrayed the country with its liberal immigration policies.
His legal team is also planning on calling radical Islamists and right-wing extremists to testify during the trial in an attempt to show that there are other people who share his world view. His lawyer said the point is to prove that there is a narrow group of like-minded people who “look at things the same way, who are of the opinion that we are at war, the Muslim and the Christian world.”
However, the secret right-wing militia group Breivik claimed to be a part of in his so-called ‘manifesto’ was proven to be nonexistent by investigators, and many right-wing politicians and anti-islamic bloggers in Norway have put a lot of effort into distancing themselves from the terrorist, who they’ve deemed a madman.
A number of the survivors of the Utoya attack will also attend the hearings next week.

Bush=no longer president and he is not eligible to be president ever again! Bush Doctrine=history its no longer applied by Bush. If it is still used it is now Obama doctrine. So a whack job invokes "Bush doctrine" to justify his killing spree? Whats the point? Are we going to make this a campaign issue? If Charles Manson claims Bush Doctrine should we sit up and take notice?
This wouldnt even be news if he claimed to follow Obama doctrine or any other fool's doctrine but he brought up the evil boogey man Bush!
As I said before: Pointless!

Watch out Bush may be hiding under your bed tonight!

I dont care if he invokes Scooby Doo doctrine as a defense. He is a lunatic. Why should I care about anything he says?

Breivik is miming the exact same attitude as yourself...as expressed above...Get them before they get you. Some people just define themselves by their enemies. Only the rightest and islamophobes must detach best they can from Brievik because he attacked his own countrymen...which is an extreme degree of nuts.
Employing Bush Doctrine as defense also implies a greater 'nuts' permeating human relations.

"Breivik confessed to the attacks but rejected criminal guilt, saying he had acted to protect Norway from being overrun by Muslims by targeting the political establishment he claimed had betrayed the country with its liberal immigration policies."
.
Which is a very fake conservative idea...

Dunno IG.
I presume a no nonsense and enforced Immigration policy would go a long way of cleaning up the presence of Illegals and curtailing the crawling out etc.possibility.
